Coin arrived in HORRIFIC condition. Black toning around the rim with massive amounts of milk spotting. Must have been a throw-away sitting at the bottom of the barrel. I kindly request a refund.

- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The MS70 2012 Kangaroo and the MS69 2014 were flawless. However, I also purchased (2) 2009 1 oz Silver Canadian Olympic Thunderbird Totem (BU) coins. One of them was slightly toned which doesn't bother me, but it also had several nice nicks on the obverse rim. This coin is scruffy, and not problem-free! I am somewhat irritated to say the least. That's not BU.

What a lovely, unique coin. I do admire the quality of the Royal Canadian Mint coins and this one is my favorite. I'm not sure whether the limited mintage of 569,048 will make them sought after in the future, but the design probably will.

I purchased this coin because it is a beautiful commemorative Canadian Maple Leaf coin which depicts the powerful Thunderbird design found on many totem poles in Canada. If you like commemoratives, this should be part of your collection.
