This is my 2nd 1/10 oz gold coin. The year (1997) has personal significance and I loved the obverse design. In hand, however, it is aesthetically less impressive than my other 1/10 oz coin, a 2021 Type 2 American Gold Eagle. I am satisfied w/ my purchase, however I would definitely choose another AGE over the 10 Yuan.

When I got the coin and examined it in real life I was surprised of the beautiful luster this coin has. The design glistens in the sunlight. The design is quite unique and its unlike anything I've seen before. It reminds me of the traditional Chinese artwork in the ancient times. Its bigger than the American gold eagle slightly. Its also the exact size diameter of a standard US dime. So I was surprised at the size of the coin, bigger than I expected. The coin has a rich yellow color. Probably one of my favorite coins now. Cant believe Apmex had it in stock. It was a good purchase. Thanks.

This coin is my favorite. The detail on it is super. I purchased one a few years ago and when I got it I noticed it looked a little bigger than most of the 1/10 coins I collect. If you get one you will buy another one because it is so eye catching and the detail is outstanding.
