Geiger became my absolute favorite company after finding out about APMEX. This German series of silver bars is exquisite to say the least. Huge, hefty, shiny bars that fit perfectly into my vault. If you own enough of these you'll certainly be well off in a crises!

I highly recommend Geiger bars. They,among other private mints should always be considered in one's investment portfolio. The serious investor will purchase this bar in any of it's available weights. . I just regret not purchasing more the last time they were in stock.

I've had my eye on these 1 kilo Geigers for almost a year now waiting for them to be restocked. Can i tell you the moment my APMEX alert went off I nearly did a backflip out of my chair! Having done tons of research on the Mint and the bars itself, I was impressed with every detail about them. My only qualm was that 3 of my bars in the issued shrink wrap where torn and exposed in some places, but the bars themselves where in mint or near mint condition so i couldn't be happier. Chalk another excellent transaction up to APMEX. Cheers.

I like this piece, it wasn't much over spot and it feels nice in the hand. However the seal in the side of the plastic shrink-wrap covering this bar was opened leaving a small hole.

This was the second 1 kilo Geiger bar I've ordered. I liked the compact design and hand feel of the first one enough that I came back months later for another. The Geiger bars are showing themselves to predictably good quality. Compared to other 1 kilo options - the Perth coin series, PAMP Fortuna, etc - these Geiger bars give you the weight, styling, and security features you want without the excessive over-spot fees.

An excellent bar to add to ones collection. When I originally purchased this bar it had about a $14 premium and silver was around $21/oz. At the time of this rating, silver is around $17 oz. and the premium is $40. They are excellent bars and of good overall quality,..but certainly NOT' Fortunas' ($200 premium) by any means. I was more impressed with Geiger when the prices were more reasonable. Will be buying JM's in this size from now on until sanity re-asserts itself. Please feel free to do your own math. There are 28.35 grams in an ounce by the way.
