In 2017, the Czech Mint introduced its first bullion coin series, the Silver bullion Czech Lion series. Each bullion Silver coin is made from .999 fine Silver and features a regal two-tailed Czech lion. The heraldic beast guards the elaborate Crown of Saint Wenceslas and the shield bearing the national patron's emblem, the burning eagle. The obverse displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
