The United States Mint introduced updated reverse designs for the 2021 Silver Eagles in 2020. The coin designs began showing up mid-year 2021 to celebrate the program's 35th anniversary. The 2021 American Silver Eagle was designed by AIP Designer Emily Damstra, who then gave her idea to Mint Medallic Artist Michael Gaudioso to be sculpted. The final design is a lone eagle flying in with an oak branch for its nest.

The American Silver Eagle Coin Series Original Design
Weinman’s Walking Liberty was minted from 1916 to 1947 and featured a pivotal design that brought artistic beauty back to American coinage. Weinman's full-length figure of Liberty in full stride and enveloped in folds of the flag; she has her right hand extended and is holding branches of laurel and oak in her left.
