Polar Bears
Polar bears are known for being strong, intelligent and patient hunters. They have been known to swim more than 60 miles without rest in search of food, which are typically seals. Polar bears have a strong sense of smell and sight. They are able to smell a seal on the ice 20 miles away and are able to spot a potential meal 15 feet underwater. Polar bears are built to stay warm in a cold habitat. If they get too warm, they often cool off in the chilly water and roll in the snow. For most of their day, they are resting for up to 20 hours before they go back out to hunt. Polar bears are also very playful and wrestle with other bears as an activity.
