The Gold Buffalo was offered in a burnished finish and fractional sizes for one year only. This set contains all four of the burnished Buffalos, among the lowest mintages of the series, each graded MS-69 by PCGS.

    • 1 oz coin - mintage of 9,074

  • Reverse: An American buffalo, adapted from the original reverse of the classic Buffalo Nickel. This image is thought to be based on Black Diamond, a buffalo living in the Central Park Zoo in the early 20th century.
  • Features the West Point Mint's "W" mint mark.
