Medal Highlights:
This 1959 Mexican gold 20 pesos coin was issues to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Venustiano Carranza. He was a leader of the Mexican Revolution and became the President of Mexico following the overthrow of the dictatorial Huerta regime in in 1914.

- 1959 Mexico Gold Medallic 20 Peso Carranza Centenary. Contains .4823 oz actual gold weight.
- Medals will be in Almost Uncirculated condition and comes in protective packaging.
- Obverse: Features the bust of Venustiano Carranza and double dates: 1859 - 1959.
- Reverse: Depicts the Monumento a la Revolucion, which is now a mausoleum containing the remains of Carranza and other famous Mexican revolutionaries. Surrounding legend: "V. CARRANZA - CENTENARIO DE SU NATALICIO," which translates to "V. Carranza - Centenary of his birth."
