This Spanish colonial issue was struck in what was to become Colombia. A bust of King Ferdinand VII of Spain adorns the obverse of this 8 escudo coin.

- 1820 NR JF Colombia Gold 8 Escudos Ferdinand VII. Contains .7615 oz actual gold weight.
- Coins in the listing will be in Almost Uncirculated condition.
- Obverse: A right facing bust of Carlos IV of Spain above the date. The dies had not arrived for Ferdinand VII so the mint continued to use the dies of the previous ruler.
- Reverse: The crowned arms within the chain of the Order of the Fleece.
