Large Cents were the first cent produced by the U.S. mint. This variety is very popular among collectors. While not a true overdate, the 44/81 date-punch is the result of having the date stamped completely upside-down and then corrected.
Coin Highlights:
- Total mintage of 2,398,752 coins, with much fewer known to exist in this variety.
