This Credit Suisse 2 gram bar is a convenient size to carry or store. It is smaller than a credit card and very slim. Each bar is laser engraved with a unique serial number. The only detraction is that the bar is held in a very thin paper stock and can move around inside the plastic enclosure.

Wafers are placed inside of a soft clear plastic 'pocket' (not a laminate) surrounded (or supposed to be anyway) by the assay stuff. Long story short the wafer does not stay inside the assay 'frame area' & instead floats around anywhere inside of the credit card size plastic container. In addition, whomever cut mine out of the bigger sheet cut the packaging so the wafer could've fallen out the side.... I had to tape the package closed. The Pamp wafers are packaged & sold the right way. I would never buy this product again.

The bar floats around inside the packaging. This is the first time I've had a product from Apmex that didn't meet expectations. Disappointing and an inconvenience.

Have dealings with APMEX for many years, cannot list a single Con against them. Service has always been exceptional, and I do not like rating them only with 5 stars because they deserve 6 and more. Their BBB rating is an A plus and of the times I have needed to sell back due to needing funds I have had not one single problem or issue. Credit suisse 2 gram bars are an excellent way to buy gold for the beginning and experienced investor. One may have to trade gold for currency and if that arises it's good to have gold in various weights.Good to have on hand when traveling or even as a gift. Also Credit Suisse is my favorite Bank Bullion and Valcambi is of high caliber. Thank You again APMEX

I love the look of the design. I will admit that it impressed me right away. I was displeased because the gold actually cam separated from the assay card, and without the protective plastic cover could be lost easily.
