This is truly a rare coin with an extremely small mintage of only 4,000 coins. This coin is evenly worn and conservatively graded by PCGS. This is one of the lowest minted coins in the entire series!

Not to be confused with the proof coin, which has a much higher mintage than this coin.

Coin Highlights:
  • PCGS encapsulation offers protection and guarantees the XF-45 condition of the coin.
  • Designed by James Longacre.
  • Obverse: Features the profile of Lady Liberty wearing a coronet.
  • Reverse : Displays the denomination in Roman numerals encircled by a wreath.

Protect and display your graded coin in style by adding an attractive display box to your order.

This coin will make a great addition to any collection. Add this 1883 Three Cent Nickel to your cart today!

3 cent nickel. Liked it

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Been looking for a 3 cent coin. Found this and liked design. Low mintage, so it's hard to judge price. But I didn't have anything like this in my collection.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
