I received 2...one in the old assay and one in the new. The old assay looks cheap while the new assay looks like every other mints card. Both contained a 5 gram piece that was exquisite.

This was my first time buying platinum and certainly won't be my last. The shipment arrived very quickly and was packaged discreetly. The bar itself is flawless, I really like the Statue of Liberty design on the back. It came lodged in the paper certificate inside of a small plastic sheath. The only thing I don't like is that the small bar easily falls out of the paper.

This is Not my first 5G Bar of Platinum from APMEX and it's most likely Not going to be my last either ! As always their Pricing is very competitive, Items always come nicely and discretely shipped and it's pretty quick on the Ship side of things as well ! The Bar is perfect condition (In Assay). I like really like the Liberty design as well. If you're on the Fence with this....just get it, you wont be disappointed !

i would 1st like to say I have been purchasing from APMEX for some time now and have not had any problems with any order or product till NOW. The bar did not come in a sealed tamper proof package. it was in a little piece of plastic. it did have is assay but the second I pulled out my items it fell out of its tiny plastic it was in. 5 gram bars are small and i only like to get them in sealed tamper proof packaging.

Although I have and had platinum rounds/coins, this is my first Platinum ingot. It arrived in mint condition and what is nice about the case, is that it is simoly plastic, like the plastic of a currency insert. Therefore, unlike PAMP or Perth ingotcards, I don't have to worry about some layer of plastic film peeling off making it look ugly. The one issue with the packaging is that the platinum bar doesn't remain in place during shipping, and I've noticed this a common issue among fellow reviewers. I was able to wiggle and massage it back to alingment in the slot of the paper card it is packaged with and it appears secure unless I were to treat it roughly and throw it around.
