- Comes encapsulated in a U.S. Mint box along with a certificate of authenticity.
- Obverse: Features a right-facing profile of Martin Van Buren. Surrounding text states "Martin Van Buren President of the United States".
- Reverse: Across the top are featured a peace pipe and tomahawk crossing each other. "Peace and Friendship" are the theme as a pair of hands shake in the center, the left hand being of a Continental Army delegate and the right being a Native American.
