Celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III
The coronation of His Majesty King Charles III marks the beginning of a new chapter for British royalty and the United Kingdom. Taking the monarchy forward into a new Carolean age, His Majesty The King is the first British monarch to be crowned in the 21st century. The last Carolean era was that of Charles II, whose restoration to the throne took place in 1660. Signaling a forward-looking reign, King Charles III chose to use the name "Charles," rather than the Latin equivalent "Carolus," on coinage, and to be crowned during the same ceremony as Her Majesty The Queen Consort.

The Royal Mint
The Royal Mint is the official mint of the United Kingdom, and has a rich history spanning over 1,100 years. The mint offers unique and innovative products to celebrate traditions and moments, and offers a wide variety of collectible and investment coins. They are well known for their flagship Britannia products, and also produce coinage for the United Kingdom.

How is it scratched?

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

When I got the coin, there is very noticeable scratch on the face! I don’t understand how or why I was given a coin that was scratched… they are supposed to be brand new, sealed and boxed… I am very disappointed with what I got!
