About Corvette
The Corvette is a car famous around the world that GM has been making in Bowling Green, Kentucky for over 30 years. The Corvette, known as America's sports car, is an amazing example of automobile advancement. Continuous generation over 60 years means the Corvette is the world's longest-running passenger car model. From its origin, the Corvette was predestined to become an icon.

The Chevrolet Corvette is a two-door luxury sports car that has been manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet since 1953. It is known for its performance, as well as its special fiberglass or composite panels. Until 2019, the engine was in the front of the vehicle. It has been mid-engine since then.

The Corvette is Chevrolet's halo vehicle and the only two-seat sports car manufactured by a key United States car manufacturer.

Zora Arkus-Duntov was a Belgian-American engineer referred to as the “Father of Corvette” for his work on Corvette. The initial convertible car was publicly uncovered in 1953 at the GM Motorama affair. Select consumers of the public were able to purchase it later that year.

In 1963, the second-generation Corvette was unveiled as a coupe and convertible. It was initially made in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri until its production relocated to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1981 - home also to the National Corvette Museum.

The Corvette has come to represent America, and it is often referred to as "America's sports car." Automotive News said that, after being included in the early 1960s TV show Route 66, the Corvette became identifiable with terms like freedom and adventure. It is now universally regarded to be both the most successful concept car ever made and the most favored sports car globally.
