Coronations are steeped in tradition, seeing monarchs make promises to God and the people that they serve. For most, a historic moment like this is a once-in-a-lifetime change to come together and celebrate the start of a new era. The Royal Mint has a long history of producing coronation medals. The tradition of making such medals dates back to the reign of Edward VI.

MILK SPOTS GALORE

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

This coin is in terrible shape for a ms69. Has large milk spots all over it. Will be returning it. Hopefully they actually have one without milk spots

Flawless MS-69

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

This limited mintage coronation coin purchase gave me a flawless MS-69, no spotting, no scratches and it looks pretty amazing for a British coin. Yeah, sometimes the PCGS ratings can be a bit subjective, but this coin looks perfect to me. Actually, I think an MS-70 rating for any British coin is like finding a unicorn. This looks like a unicorn! :)

I echo the previous review. An MS 69 is not to have the imperfections this coin arrived with. I will bring it up to the seller's attention.

milk spots = ms-69?

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Got this coin thinking it’s grade gives it a strong price growth potential! Unfortunately… the coin I got has milk spots! I’ll be requesting a refund after labor day weekend. Huge disappointment…
