This is perhaps one of the nicest notes we have seen in this condition. There are no problems with this note and the colors and engravings are bold. It has very little folding with no other distractions of any kind. All details are visible and clear.
For up to 90% of the profit, the comptroller would authorize the production of notes bearing the individual bank’s name.
From 1865, this $2 national note issued by The First National Bank of Yonkers, NY is in Very Good-8 condition. This note is known as the "Lazy Deuce" as the 2 looks to be resting on its side. Minor Repairs. Only 4 known from Charter# 653 from Yonkers!
