The Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC) was created in 2007 to upgrade the standard of coin grading. The CAC’s primary intention was to differentiate the difference in quality between previously certified coins of the same grade. If a coin suits the high-quality standard the company has established, they bolster the certification with their recognized CAC sticker.

Starting in 2023, the CAC made the preliminary certification of coins rather than upgrading those already certified. Selecting a 2024 Gold American Eagle certified by CAC means it is graded to their arduous standards for quality.

First Delivery
With the new launch of Gold American Eagles, CAC labels certain coins as First Delivery.
