This note will make a nice addition to any colonial currency collection. Colonial issues preceded the continental notes by many decades, and some are quite rare. These notes are in demand among collectors and rising in value due to the limited numbers printed by Hall and Sellers of Philadelphia. That firm was formerly known as Benjamin Franklin and Hall. Signatures vary by note. Interestingly, you can see pieces of mica that were mixed into the paper to deter counterfeiting.
This is a nice Very Fine-30 note from the Revolutionary War era graded by PMG. Continental notes are always popular as these were some of the first forms of American currency to circulate in the colonies.
Currency Highlights:
- Housed in an archival quality currency sleeve.
- Graded Very Fine-30 condition.
- Face: Depicts a pyramid.
- Back: The print features 3 arrows, one crossing two.
