This beautiful 1869 $10 legal tender head of Daniel Webster has been certified to be Very Fine-20 by PCGS. This scarce note is in the Rainbow variety, and is a very sought after note.

This note is commonly referred to as the "jackass" note due to the likeness of the small eagle at bottom center. When the note is upside down, the eagle resembles the head of a donkey.

Currency Highlights:
  • Features a small red scalloped seal and blue serial numbers.
  • Housed in an inert Mylar currency holder by PCGS.
  • Graded Very Fine-20 by PCGS.
  • Comments: Pinholes.
  • Face: Features a portrait of Daniel Webster at the left with a vignette of Pocahontas being presented to the English royal court at lower right.
