1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coins
Congress began the American Gold Eagle program in 1986, and it came to be an international sensation. These coins are the first investment coins officially guaranteed by the U.S. government.
A historic past of strength and freedom are portrayed in the art. On the front side of the Gold Eagle, Lady Liberty steps fearlessly into the obscure, holding a torch and an olive branch. On the reverse side is an exquisitely created portrait of the bald eagle, America’s sign of liberty. Every 1/10 oz Gold Eagle coin is made up of .9167 fine gold.
These coins are not offered for purchase right from the United States Mint. Alternatively, they are delivered via a well-established system of authorized purchasers, such as APMEX.
