Included in this handsome limited-edition set are a satin finish uncirculated Marine Corps 230th anniversary Silver Dollar and an original 3-cent Iwo Jima postage stamp, issued by the then United States Post Office Department in 1945.

Set Highlights:

Both the obverse of the coin and the stamp carry a rendition of the flag raising image as seen through the lens of Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal atop Mount Suribachi on the Japanese Island of Iwo Jima, February 23, 1945. It is believed to be the most reproduced image in the history of photography.
