I was really interested to see such an old, historically valuable coin for such a low price - even in a deluxe folder like this. Old American pennies are sold for more than one of these, and they're 1700 years younger! I think it is amazing that this reflects Jesus' observation in Mark 12 & Luke 21, that the two small mites were worthless in man's eyes, but the widow's faith was a treasure in God's eyes. My only complaint is that the folder uses the word "parable" to describe the record in the Bible, but this event was not a parable.

I just want to see how small is the real widow's mite. Since it is not too expensive, it is worth the try. It is soooo small and light! I will use it as an illustration for Sunday Bible classes.
