Challenge Coins

Continuing a tradition established in World War I, the SilverTowne mint manufactures challenge coins. They were first established as a form of identification, but now have taken on commemorative value. They are used to recognize the service of members of the military and those in public service, like police and fire and rescue workers. Even businesses use challenge coins to show appreciation of employees, business associates and customers.

History of SilverTowne

SilverTowne opened its doors in 1949 and has been manufacturing gifts, rounds and collectibles of the highest caliber ever since. In 1983, SilverTowne added custom minting services to their repertoire and became the SilverTowne Mint as it is known today.
