In 1850s and 60s western mining camps, a lack of U.S. government issued minor coins led to the striking of the classic Fractional Gold Coins. Today, Native Americans replicate that old tradition, while honoring the incredible heritage and culture of the Apache Indians. There are 3 different sized coins detailing various aspects of Apache culture, with a common reverse displaying a typical settlement of the Plains Indians.
Set Highlights:
- Contains 1.75 grams of .9999 fine Gold.
- This set comes packaged in a mint box with a certificate of authenticity.
- Obverse: Design varies.
- Reverse: An image of a typical Native American settlement is shown.
- These coins are beautifully produced, with each strike performed by hand.

I like that these small nuggets of gold have such impressive detail on them for their size. The gold are solid in the plastic capsules with the black foam padding in them and comes in a solid protective case which is always a plus. Glad to have one so my collection continues to grow in diversity.
