This Series 1935-A $1 Silver Certificate was printed on special paper as part of a trial to compare how this paper would hold up in circulation compared with the regular paper being used. This scarce note is graded CU-65 Premium Paper Quality by PCGS.
Currency Highlights:
- This denomination and type was used widely in circulation until the 1960s.
