From 1865, this $2 national note issued by The First National Bank of Athens, OH is in Very Good-8 condition. This note is known as the "Lazy Deuce" as the 2 looks to be resting on its side.

Currency Highlights:
  • Housed in an archival quality currency sleeve and graded Very Good-8 Net by PMG.
  • Face: A portrait of a representation of Liberty with an American flag at left.
  • Back: A central vignette of Sir Walter Raleigh exhibiting corn and smoking tobacco from America. The state seal appears at left while an eagle is seen at right.
