Currency Highlights:
Protect your small size currency by adding a protective currency holder to your order.
These Web Press notes will make a nice addition to any paper money collection. Add one of these to your cart today!
The Series 1988-A $1 Federal Reserve Notes were part of a first printing using a high speed Web Fed currency press in actual production. This press fed a continuous roll of paper that printed both sides simultaneously, instead of the sheet fed press that printed a 32 subject sheet one side at a time. Since these Web Press notes were printed in much smaller numbers, they are tough to find this well preserved, and are highly sought after by collectors.
This is a Web Press printing that prints the face and back of the note at the same time. These Web Press notes are elusive issues in Crisp Uncirculated condition!
Currency Highlights:
- These Web Press $1 FRNs were first printed in May 1992.
- Notes will be housed in archival quality currency sleeves.
- Like-new notes from Series 1988-A in Crisp Uncirculated condition.
- Face: A portrait of George Washington.
- Back: An engraving of the Great Seal of the United States.
- Villalpando/Brady signatures—Friedberg #1917-G.
