New Silver Eagle Design
In 2020, the United States Mint unveiled the new reverse designs for the 35th anniversary 2021 American Silver Eagles. AIP Designer Emily Damstra created the 2021 Silver Eagle design, which was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Michael Gaudioso. The design depicts a single eagle coming in for a landing, carrying an oak branch as if to add it to a nest.
APMEX MintDirect® Premier with PCGS FirstStrike®
APMEX has partnered with PCGS, one of the most trusted names in numismatics, to add the assurance of the PCGS FirstStrike® designation to the MintDirect® Premier product. After reviewing and vetting the MintDirect® process, PCGS recognizes these 2021 MintDirect® Premier Silver Eagles as meeting their strict requirements for FirstStrike® eligibility if submitted for grading in their original sealed packaging.
APMEX uses a special machine to ensure the products you receive are sealed completely. Once received, the mint tubes are placed on the conveyor leading into the machine and the sealing process seals both ends of each tube with tamper-evident packaging. After the process is completed, the tube is checked to ensure the quality of the packaging meets APMEX’s high standards. Five of these tubes are placed into a stackable APMEX branded Mini Monster Box and sealed for an added layer of protection. The MintDirect® process provides you the assurance this product has not been opened, sorted or searched.
Note: The MintDirect® process does not guarantee protection from spotting or tarnishing that normally occurs in chemically active metals, such as Gold, Silver and Platinum.
