The East India Company
This bullion bar coin features an East India Company sailing ship, with the obverse of St. Helena's effigy. The design showcases the company's main transports for trade, a large ship. Adding to the design is a background featuring nautical sailing lines, as well as the East India Company London's logo. The historic East India Company is one of the most well-known companies historically, increasing trade among Europe and Asia. Many commodities were traded through the East India Company, including silk, spices, tea, and cotton. Ships were a large part of the East India trade, as featured on this Silver Ship Rectangular Coin. The historic East India company disbanded in the 1800s, however the name was revitalized for The East India Company London, bringing a re-imagined company that sells fine teas, food, as well as produces collectible coins, such as this 250 gram Silver Ship Coin.

Yup, those corners are still a problem.

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Like the other posts for this bar series have stated, the corners are a persistent problem. Machinery grind the corners during manufacturing or the sealing process. It’s a big shame too, because these bars are THE most beautiful bars I own, and the damage takes away a ton of aesthetic beauty from them. Even with the damaged corners, they are worth keeping and I will not return them for an exchange, because it’s highly likely most of the bars have the same damage. These bars are incredibly gorgeous. Still recommended.

Hopefully yours comes in better shape then mine did and the replacement. Beyond disappointing, 0 stars but had to give 1. It'd be an amazing peice if every corner wasn't smashed...

Simply exquisite!!!!!!!

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I purchased two of these. These 10oz bars are absolutely exquisite!!!!!! From the mirror-like polishing around the cameo of Queen Elizabeth and the heavy gauge protective packaging to the artwork detailing on the "ship side", these are magnificent. I feel as though I bought some highly collectible pieces at bullion prices...I am very excited to have these in my stack/collection.
