Traced back nearly 1,500 years to India, the history of chess was the subject of speculation. The game quickly spread to Persia, Spain and then Southern Europe and evolved roughly into its current form around the 1500s. This stackable series will feature six different types of pieces used on the chess board - king, rook, bishop, queen, knight and pawn. The second series release includes the knight.

Wow. This is one elegant design. It is gorgeous. Its detail is exquisite covering both sides of the piece. It is also enclosed in a custom molded capsule that looks gorgeous and protects the piece. I love it and plan to collect more. Great craftsmanship and quality minting. Lovely.
