Product Details
This proof commemorative round, struck in pure Gold for the National Park Foundation, features a concept design from the U.S. Mint by U.S. chief engraver Augustus Saint-Gaudens and graded PF-70 by NGC.

This is the original design Augustus Saint-Gaudens desired to produce but limitations in minting capabilities would not allow for this design to make its debut until now.

Round Highlights:
  • Contains 1 oz .9999 fine Gold.
  • NGC encapsulation protects the perfect 70 condition of the coin. The label is hand signed by John M. Mercanti, the U.S. Mint's 12th Chief Engraver, who has recreated Saint-Gaudens original design using original plasters and sketches from archives to hand sculpt the obverse and reverse designs.
  • Limited to an exclusive mintage of 750 units worldwide.
  • Struck in Ultra High Relief.
  • Obverse: Features a proposed concept design of Lady Liberty for the new $20 Gold piece.
  • Reverse: Displays a proposed concept design of a perched eagle.
  • Designs originally by engraver Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
