Omaha Beach
James is an American officer in the 1st Infantry Division. He landed on Omaha Beach, nicknamed "Bloody Omaha." The 1st Infantry was responsible for landing on Omaha Beach, along with the 29th Infantry Division. On June 6, 1944, the 16th Infantry Regiment landed at 6:30 a.m. in Normandy, in front of Colleville-sur-Mer. But German resistance was extremely strong and the Americans were on the brink of disaster. Their losses were immense. But they didn't lose heart, and broke through the Atlantic Wall!

Monnaie de Paris
Founded in 1864, not only is Monnaie de Paris France's longest standing institution, but it is also the oldest enterprise in the world. Today, the mint strikes circulation coins for France, as well as beautiful gold and silver commemorative coin programs that are each intricately designed works of art. The mint is also home to a museum that hosts exhibitions, tours and workshops as well as the Guy Savoy Restaurant.
