I've wanted to own some pre-1933 US gold for quite a while, and when I saw that these were on sale, I figured it was the right time to add some to my collection. Simply put, this is outstanding! I received an 1851-P in an NGC slab, and it's incredible how clean the strike is on a coin this small. It's also from a fascinating time in the history of US coinage; the fact that it left the mint at Philadelphia around the time the Gold Rush was booming is seriously cool! :)

I got an 1853 Gold Liberty Dollar coin and I am happy! For being 163 years ago from its date of being minted, it is exceptional for its age even if its graded as a MS-61. It is absolutely small of course, but it makes you appreciate the craftsmanship for the day and age. Will defiantly order more again.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
