Liberty Seated Dimes - One of the longest year runs of dime designs began in 1837 with the Liberty Seated design by Christian Gobrecht. These dimes started in 1837 and were produced until 1891. There are various varieties of Liberty Seated dimes such as No Stars on Obverse, Stars on Obverse, Arrows at Date, and the Legend on Obverse types. A particularly rare date is the 1874-CC Carson City specimen, with a mintage of only 10,817 pieces. A well-worn Good specimen is over $3,000 – when you can locate one!
