High denomination currency was originally intended for commerce between banks. However, it slowly made its way into circulation and is highly collected today. These notes will have major problems.

  • Graded as a Cull and housed in an inert mylar sleeve.
  • Face: Features a portrait of President Grover Cleveland facing right.
  • Back: Displays the inscriptions "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS" with dark green coloring.
  • Very desirable light green Treasury Department seal.
  • Julian/Morganthau signatures—Friedberg #2212-H.
