Easily recognizable for its portrait of American Indian Chief, Running Antelope, the 1899 $5 Silver Certificate is one of the most popular U.S. paper notes.
Currency Highlights:- Stored in archival quality currency sleeve.
- Denomination features both blue seal and blue serial numbers.
- Obverse: Depicts a portrait of the Sioux Chief Running Antelope with headdress.
- Reverse: Features an engraved design with "FIVE" in the upper right and left corners and the numerical 5 at the lower left and right corners. There is also a prominent "V" in the center with the obligation.
- Is Very Good quality and has honest wear.
- These notes were manufactured up into the 1920s.
