I bought one of these in the autumn of 2023. I received a 1909D which is a common date and mint. I had it professionally graded by PCGS at MS 61. So I think these are truly BU. They are priced as such. They know what they are selling because if you get above MS 61 or 62 the value goes up precipitously so you’re probably going to get a coin in the realm of MS 61 which great. It’s a fine coin. I am very happy with the purchase. Anyway, I hope this helps and puts these coins in some perspective
