For some reason theses Canadian silver dollars are not very popular or sought after. I don’t know whether it is their relatively low purity (80%) and/or there silver bullion content (.6 tOz), but theses coins are great it you trying to stack ounces especially on a budget. Just have to be understanding of the fact that they virtually have no added numismatic value. They should just be treated as bullion for stacking. with that context in mind they are great.

so I was doing research on Canadian silver dollars and it seems there is not much interest in them in the states, that being said, compared to peace and Morgan dollars they are on sale . interest in them may be low now but I believe they will become sought after in a few years, so I am collecting now ! not to mention they are a beautiful coin backed by the Canadian government win win in my book . also the .600 silver content makes for easy math when calculating your silver content. ps. some of my Canadian silver dollars looked like they came straight from the mint .

I purchased two rolls (2 X 20). The breakdown was two-thirds '65s and one-third '64s (Charlottetown), with four '66s. Several of the '65s look like "PL", one had some interesting toning going on, I wasn't positively impressed with a few (the portrait field - a hazy, fine scratchy appearance). I'd hoped for more from '57-'63, my preference - c'est la vie.

Beautiful coins and much more value for your dollar than USD coins. I was disappointed that I bought 20 as 20 or more come in a tube and they were all individual with no tube. Luckily I had an Eagle tube laying around to put them in. I would still recommend though!

These definitely are BU and are very attractive. I ordered 5 and 4 have the colonist and indigenous native canoeing on the reverse side, however on the reverse side of one there's a central circle with some flowers and such inside it and surrounding the circle are the words CHARLOTTETOWN QUEBEC which was unexpected and nice to see. Very satisfied and tempted to buy more..
