Surviving the Gold Reserve Act of 1934 which outlawed private ownership of Gold, this 20th century $10 Indian has nice luster with just small traces of wear. This historical piece would be the great addition.
Coin Highlights:- Contains .4838 oz of Gold.
- Mintage of 121,540.
- Obverse: Lady Liberty crowned with a war bonnet encircled by 13 stars with the word "Liberty" on her hair band and the date below.
- Reverse: Features a majestic bald eagle. Surrounding the eagle is “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the denomination "TEN DOLLARS."
- Designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
- Coins minted in Denver feature the "D" mint mark.
