These 1945 Canadian Cents were a commemorative issue for supporting the ongoing war effort. They display a torch on a large "V" in the center, signifying victory in WWII as well as the face value of the coin.

Coin Highlights:

  • Struck in chrome plated steel during the reign of King George VI.
  • Mintage of 18,893,216.
  • These coins will come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
  • Obverse: Bust of George VI facing left.
