This Gold Byzantine Solidus features the Emperor Constans II with his heir, Constantine IV. The dress of these emperors reflects the Greek Orthodox and often includes long beards.
Coin Highlights:- Solidus struck in Gold. Weights will vary slightly from coin to coin.
- Struck during the reign of the Emperor Constans II, who was Byzantine Emperor from 641-668. He became consul in 642, which made him the last Roman emperor to become consul.
- This coin is in Almost Uncirculated condition.
- Obverse: Constans II facing with short beard.
