I bought one and it was pretty scratchy from improper cleaning. In one sense, it's not horrible, but the price given the condition is, numismatically, a bit off. (Not crabbing, just being... frank.) However, now I have an Imperial French 5 Franc piece.

Napoleon III was the nephew of the first Napoleon, the son of his brother Louis (aka King of Holland). He was the last Emperor of France, with his reign ending in 1870. Once I cleaned the coin, it looked as you'd expect a 20-year-old coin to look. It has its place in history.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
