Excellent premium on a hard to find coin.

Featuring one of the most attractive designs I have ever seen, these coins retain their value and then some. The best thing about these is that they are the first 'Silver Balances' to be minted, back in 1949. Although only .925 purity, the 33.625 grams of it equal one full ounce of pure silver. These coins are an excellent alternative to the Silver Libertad. Unfortunately, they are not always available for sale and thus, are highly coveted. As soon as I see them back in stock, I purchase as many as I can without hesitation. Worth every single gram especially for being from 1949.

  • Pros
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Easy to Sell
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Best of breed when it comes to 1ozt silver bullion rounds. Not they they were first or they are properly stamped as to identify weight (to the grain) and purity; well OK they are the first on the planet....................
