This first year of issue is the only year with the "8" Tailfeather reverse. It is a great coin for a circulated type set.
Coin Highlights:- Contains .7734 oz of Silver.
- This issue comes in Very Fine condition.
- Obverse: Shows Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with the word "Liberty" on her hair band, bordered by "E Pluribus Unum," the date of issue and thirteen small stars representing the original colonies.
- Reverse: Features a bald eagle clutching an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, surrounded by "United States of America," "One Dollar" and "In God We Trust."
- Morgan Dollars from the Philadelphia Mint have no mint mark.

It is a nice coin in very fine condition. What i like about this morgan , is that the eagle has 8 tail feathers

1878 was the 1st year that Morgan's were produced, so they are must haves for any collection. The 8 tail feather version is highly collectible. The coin itself was in the condition noted. (VF) I'm adequately satisfied with this coin.
