- The Series 681 Military Payment Certificates were printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Washington, D.C.
- Five cents denomination.
- These notes are in Very Fine condition.
- Face: Depicts an Ethan Allen class ballistic missile submarine.
- Back: Vignette depicting Major Ed White during his spacewalk on the Gemini 4 mission.
