Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

The roll was not BU

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

These franklins were AU coins. I am not a pro and did not realize it until I sent four of the nicer ones in to be graded and got back three AU58 (one marked cleaned) and one MS63. By that time it was too late for any return. Called in to let you guys know that you sold me a roll of AU instead of BU only to have a customer service rep tell me sorry, too late to return. Not even a I will pass this info on so it does not happen in the future or thank you for that information. If you say BU in the listing then they should be BU.
