Ordered product on a Saturday night, arrived at 11 on Thursday morning. This is a roll of 1953-S Franklin Halves, advertised as BU. 1 coin had minor toning around the edge, another had a streak of tone on the obverse at about 8 o'clock. Rest of the coins were blast white. Some were struck weaker than others, but all appeared as Mint State, although at the lower end (no MS 65 sneaked in, in other words). I had seen this type of roll offered by another dealer, but APMEX price was nicely lower. Overall, I was very satisfied with this purchase. This was a true Brilliant Uncirculated roll, I have bought others from other dealers who don't seem to understand that Brilliant means no toning. APMEX came through on this purchase.
