while it's a beautiful coin, it was obviously improperly cleaned, which lowers the value significantly. For the money, it makes a LOT more sense to by the slabbed version of this coin that's graded ms-62 or 63, as it would have been professionally graded and you're guaranteed not to get a cleaned coin for the same price. Can't say i'm too thrilled with this purchase from Apmex and i think they should be more honest about the type of product they are selling.

I love Morgan Dollars and this one is a beauty. Easily an MS-63, maybe MS-64. I have purchased several Morgans from APMEX and most were quite excellent. This is one of the best. I have only received one coin thus far that did not meet my expectations.

When I saw the coin advertised on Apmex, it looked wonderful. So I ordered it, and when it came I was more than happy! The coin had the usual but very few bag marks, however it was like brand new with that frosty silver shimmer at every angle! I have bought more and more, and more!
